Seemed to be going well...

  • Been reading these boards for the last 2 weeks but havent registered cause I was still learning and taking in all the information. Figure it I asked a question it had already been answered so didnt bother signing up. Everyone really helpful.

    Im sure I just missed this problem Im having or something so sorry for the newbie question.

    Got everything up and running ( so I thought ).

    Im using a PC setup, along with Adacity+Lame to edit and convert my files. Just using a basic PC mic for now. I wanted to see if I could get this up and going before I purchased some real equipment, and got serious into this.

    All seemed to be going to easy. I made the xml file, located here, http://www.whatbothersyou.com/podcasts/podcast3.xml

    I added a subscription in iPodder, it reads the page fine, as in it reads the file name extension the "topic" and "artist" and such. But it wont actually play the file.

    Was hoping someone could help me out here. Tell me what Im missing.

  • Thanks... I plan on having alot of fun. Working on a new website for my podcasts. It will have one focus. Now to really learn about the audio mixings and stuff then buy some real equipment. Before I make a purchase Ill make sure I have some kind of listener base first though.
